Client documents sometimes need to reach someone outside your practice, such as a GP or another professional involved in your client's care. Third-party sharing gives the people you choose a temporary, secure portal, set up straight from the client's file. Add each person by name and email, set how long the share stays open, up to 90 days ahead, and add documents from the client's file, a template from your library or a file of your own, choosing whether each is for reference, to complete, or to review and sign. You can also ask them to send a file back. Each person gets their own email and signs in with their own address to a portal holding that share and nothing else of the file. You follow their progress on the client's Documents tab, where what they complete, sign or send back lands too. Change the end date, or revoke access for one person or one document, whenever you need to, and once the end date passes the share closes on its own.
