Supervision fees, room hire, insurance: every expense comes with an invoice to record and keep. Upload it or forward it by email, check the draft it is read into, and record it with the original kept as the receipt.
Every expense a practice pays, from supervision fees to room hire and insurance, comes with an invoice that has to be recorded and kept. Instead of typing each one in, drop the files into Upload expenses: spreadsheets (.csv, .xlsx), PDF invoices or photos of receipts, several at once. Each file is read into draft expenses for you to check and correct, nothing is recorded until you have reviewed the drafts and pressed Record, and the original file stays on the expense as its receipt. Invoices that arrive by email do not need downloading first. Your practice has its own receipts address: forward the email an invoice came in, or send a photo of a receipt from your phone, and the files wait in the same review. Only addresses on your list of allowed senders can send to it, so add your accountant if they send receipts in for you. Set a category for each provider once and every expense you upload from them afterwards is filed the same way, and when you are ready, apply those categories to the expenses you have already recorded.
